CITS Accountable Lead – Tom Hockensmith

Description: This project will establish Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) framework & presence for a variety of use cases and investigate posture checking capabilities to evaluate remotely connecting devices. Planning efforts are underway to distribute AVD to all of Central Admin as well as to the rest of the University.

Description: Replace the older security cameras on campus to ensure better coverage and public safety. As of the end of March 2026, we have nearly all of the cameras operational, working on the last dozen.

CITS Accountable Lead – Diane Faranetta

Description: eDisclose, a financial disclosure reporting/tracking system currently used by the School of Medicine, was implemented for use by the rest of the University. The full launch occurred January 20, 2026. There were some post-deployment development items which have also been completed. The final piece is to implement an entitlement system to help automate the monitoring of appropriate access to the system.

Description: We are implementing a new student portal: Ellucian Experience. We are currently sharing a mockup site with campus focus groups. The target go-live date is June 15, 2026

Description: Implementation efforts continue with our partner, Huron. The project completed its Test phase, but it has been determined that we need to better prepare the user communities for this change. Readiness preparations, trainings, and practices are being planned as we work toward an October 12, 2026 launch of the new system.

This project replaces Philanthropy's current fundraising system, Advance. Development ran into some quality issues. As of the end of March 22026, we continue to correct for the issues and are currently resetting our target go-live date.
