Íøºì±¬ÁÏ

The Center for Cyber, Health, and Hazard Strategies is a nationally recognized university center that partners with government agencies, health systems, educational institutions, and businesses to strengthen community resilience. Working together, we build innovative, practical solutions for today's evolving preparedness, response, and resilience challenges.

What We Do

When disaster strikes, communities need more than a plan. They need the right partners. Founded after 9/11 and based at the Íøºì±¬ÁÏ, Baltimore, CHHS brings together experts in law, policy, public health, and emergency management to help organizations prepare, respond, and recover from a wide range of threats and hazards — from cyberattacks and emerging technologies to natural disaster and public health emergencies.

Real-World Impact

CHHS advances emergency preparedness and resilience through expert planning, response, and coordination. Our work spans Emergency Operations, public health emergencies, cybersecurity, AI governance, and preparedness exercises, helping jurisdictions build capacity and respond when it matters most.
