Professional Licensure and Certification Disclosures

The Íøºì±¬ÁÏ, Baltimore (UMB) offers a number of educational programs that lead to licensure or certification is a specific field or concentration.  Successful completion of an educational program does not guarantee licensure or certification.  Depending upon the profession, states have differing requirements including but not limited to the successful passing of a licensing exam, specific numbers of hours in training (e.g., practicum/internship), and/or background checks.

Please click on the links provided below to be directed to each program’s page, which will include a Professional Licensure and Certification Disclosure section. In this section, information will be provided for which states the program meets licensure/certification requirement, which states the program does not meet licensure/certification requirements, and which states UMB has not made a determination on whether the program meets licensure/certification requirements.

These individual requirements can change at any time.  UMB will update the information within fourteen (14) days of making any determinations or becoming aware of any changes in its determinations.  UMB strongly recommends students check with the individual licensing/certification boards of the state they intend to practice prior to entering any educational program.
