This elective course offers a comprehensive training experience in abortion and reproductive health care for students enrolled in a University System of Maryland DNP, PA, or DMSc program, as well as resident physicians at the Íøºì±¬ÁÏ, Baltimore. The course combines an asynchronous curriculum with clinical skills development and a supervised clinical placement at a site within the Maryland Clinical Abortion Training Network (MCATN). Designed to build both knowledge and hands-on experience, the course emphasizes medication abortion care while also providing exposure to procedural abortion in real-world clinical settings.
