The Íøºì±¬ÁÏ, Baltimore (UMB) held commencement for the Class of 2023 on Thursday, May 18, at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena on the campus of the Íøºì±¬ÁÏ, Baltimore County.
This year’s Universitywide event featured recognition of the inaugural President’s Distinguished Gold Medal recipient, Norman R. Augustine, MSE; the awarding of honorary degrees to Shirley Nathan-Pulliam, MAS, BSN ’80, RN, FAAN, and Martha Somerman, DDS, PhD; a speech by Joanna Z. Ye, a graduating student from the School of Medicine; and much more.
UMB congratulates the Class of 2023 graduates of the schools of dentistry, law, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, social work, and the Graduate School.
