Revising “Child and Family Health” to Better Communicate Importance of Global Health

This project will revise “Child and Family Health,” a second-year Master of Social Work course for students who will work in clinical health settings such as hospitals. While the course overall focuses on US-based healthcare, it includes one module on child and family health exclusively outside of the US, primarily in low- and middle-income countries. This project will revamp the module to better communicate the importance of global health students, wherever they practice. Additionally, the project will consider how to better infuse a global lens into the other modules of this course, even if these class sessions are mostly US-focused.
