Neijma 's project involves expanding the LEAD(Leading for Equity Antiracism and Diversity) Institute at the School of Social Work to include global content and concepts. The goal is to help participants think about how a global perspective may impact their identities, their roles social workers and help cultivate justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. By including global content and concepts into the LEAD curriculum, I hope participants can better understand and address the complex and unique challenges faced by individuals who have multiple marginalized identities.
