Creating a Global Health Track in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program

I have been in discussion over the past year with the Director of UMSON Office of Global Health and the Associate Dean of the Doctor of Nursing Practice program to innovate a Global Health track in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program. The idea is for a new plan of study wherein select courses from the current UMSON Global Health Certificate program would satisfy requirements for the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
The new track is envisioned as a partnership between the UMSON Office of Global Health faculty experts and the Doctor of Nursing Practice program faculty and administrators to build greater capacity and impact global health equity.
