Sophie Olabamipe Ogunsanmi is a second-year PhD student in the Program in Neuroscience at the Íøºì±¬ÁÏ, Baltimore. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychological Science from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. Sophie’s current research focuses on exploring the effects of Ketamine as a treatment for AUD. As the Community & Belongings Officer for the University Student Government Association (USGA), she aims to foster a sense of belonging among the student population by developing programs that acknowledge and celebrate various identities. In addition to her role as Community & Belongings Officer, Sophie also serves on the Neuro Networks Committee. Outside of her academic and leadership responsibilities, she enjoys unwinding by watching reality television shows and traveling.
