Mayor to Address Law School Grads
Alumna and Baltimore City Mayor will deliver the keynote address May 14 at the 2015 Hooding Ceremony for graduating students of the .
Nearly 300 law students will graduate from Maryland Carey Law this spring. The Hooding Ceremony is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 14 at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore. Reporters who wish to cover the event must request tickets in advance; they are required for admission.
Maryland Carey Law Dean announced the Mayor’s participation. "We are enormously honored that a leader of the Mayor’s stature will be joining our graduates as they celebrate their own professional and academic achievements on a very special day," Tobin said.
Rawlings-Blake was elected to the Baltimore City Council in 1995, the year she graduated from Maryland Carey Law.
