I live in a household with 8 people, half the people are vaccinated and half aren't. We have been self-quarantining and being very safe. The vaccinated people want to start doing more activities (eat at restaurants and such) while the unvaccinated people want everyone to take full precautions until the whole house is vaccinated. The cdc doesn't say what to do in this situation, so I was wondering your thoughts and recommendations are. Thank you!

Persons who are fully vaccinated can and should be able to enjoy some relaxation in precautions. The vaccines have proven to extremely efficacious. Persons who are fully vaccinated can enjoy going outdoors safely; indoors dining can be done safely with adequate ventilation.

I think the concerns of the unvaccinated in the household can be largely addressed by having the vaccinated persons being vigilant with trying to minimize their realistic exposures to the virus.  For example, to limit themselves to outdoors dining. Communication, trust, and some compromise within the household is probably the most important factor.
