I read that there is a COVID surge happening in the US at present. I am going on a family vacation to the beach. We are all vaccinated and boosted. Should we be worried?
Yes, Covid appears to be re-surging in many parts of the world. There is a general lack of testing so it is difficult to know how much Covid is being transmitted in specific regions of the world. I would have a low threshold for wearing well-fitted face masks (e.g., KN95 mask) when venturing out into public indoor enclosed spaces. Being vaccinated and up to date with your booster doses is the best course of action which you have already completed. Good luck.
