Can being in good health (diet, sleep, exercise, etc.) prevent (or at least lessen the severity of) contracting COVID?

The fact of being in good health does not prevent risk of contracting Covid. Wearing a mask, getting vaccinated, staying away from enclosed public spaces, improving ventilation, etc. are the ways to prevent risk of Covid. However being of good health means that the severity of a Covid infection might be less that that of a person with poor health or pre-existing chronic conditions.  Risk and severity of infection are different.
