Yes, there is the possibility of Paxlovid Rebound, which seems to be common (up to 20% of cases) but the rebound effect is rarely more severe than the initial infection. There is also some rebound symptoms with people who are untreated so there is a question as to how much is associated with Paxlovid compared to coincidental symptoms that would have occurred.
