How long should one wait to get a vaccine (for things other than COVID) after having COVID?
There is no fixed amount of time to wait after Covid for the receipt of vaccines. However, we do want people to have recovered from their Covid infection and to not be potentially infectious when they are in their provider’s office/clinic to get their
vaccines—this could certainly result in more infections among the patients of the clinic. So, the rule is that you should wait until you have recovered from the Covid infection (about 2-4 weeks).
