I am 75 and tested positive for covid last Friday the 17th. I am scheduled to have my normal 6 month checkup with blood work on the 30th. Is that to soon to do Blood work ?

If you tested on 6/17 and your blood work is scheduled on 6/30 then you have 14 days during which you can recover. I would suggest that you contact your provider to determine if they would like for you to undertake any special precautions or if they have their own standard operating procedures for Covid. In the least, I would suggest that you perform an at-home rapid antigen test the day before (Wednesday, June 29) or the day of your planned blood work, to determine if you may still be infectious. A positive test suggests that you still have infectious virus and then you should delay the blood work.  Also, depending on the tests that will be done with the blood work, you may want to delay the blood work because they may be abnormal shortly after an infection; for example if you were have your white blood cells (WBC) assessed then they may be abnormally elevated due to your recent infection.  These are questions which should be addressed by your provider.
