I tested positive with a rapid test on May 8th. I live with my husband and it really wasn't an option to isolate on my own. My husband tested positive with a rapid test on May 12th. I have recovered since may 15th, but my husband still has symptoms. I'm absolutely sure that i gave him the covid infection, since he hasn't seen anyone but me. Since we live together and share the same bed and food etc , could he reinfect me?
Generally no, but there has been documentation of a healthcare worker getting a second Covid infection 20 days after a first infection so it may be theoretically possible but highly unlikely.
