Hello, I have been exposed to a friend with covid 1 day ago. On that same day I took a rapid at home test and the results were negative. Today I am feeling some symptoms so I took another at home test and also resulted in a negative result. The issue I have is that I have a large event in 4 days, the symptoms are getting a little worse. What should be my next steps?
You tested too early after exposure. I would repeat the antigen test prior to the large event. Your symptoms are consistent with your recent known exposure with Covid and so I would seriously consider that you forgo attending the event.
