As the caretaker of a dependent child who has Covid infection, you will be exposed to and by virtue of your frequent and direct contact potentially can transmit the virus to others—e.g., your mother who is presumably an older adult at higher risk of severe disease with infection. Therefore, I suggest that you isolate with your child for 5 days, starting the count of days with the day you first recognized the infection in this third child.
