Hello, I am positive with covid, I am in the 5th day. My oxygen saturation is about 95 and I have a mild fever of 37,2 C. I have a mild dry cough, but I feel backpains in my left back and front of the chest. Could it be already from pneumonia or the coughing ? Can I have pneumonia without a fever and a severe cough ?

Your temperature is normal and your oxygen levels appear to be near normal and is not worrisome by itself. The left back pain and front chest pain could be due to muscle strain from coughing and I would suggest aggressive hydration, rest, and perhaps some ibuprofen or symptomatic relief. If the symptoms continue to worsen, then it could be a rare but concerning adverse effect of the Covid infection, such as a blood clot or heart inflammation (mycarditis) which would require prompt medical attention. If the pain is mild or moderate and not associated with feeling of shortness of breath or worsening with exertion then I would stick with the hydration, rest and symptomatic treatment with over-the-counter ache relief.
