Hello. Unfortunately, I contracted Covid along with my family at home. I've got 2 questions. Is this ok to not wear masks if we all are sick? Second, as first symptom I felt tingling sensation in my throat about 3 days ago. The next day muscle pain and chills and slight fever. They are all gone by now except for the throat, it's extremely sore. Is this normal? Thank you,
Masking would not be necessary if you are isolating in a household in which all members are known infected. Masking would only be necessary to try to prevent an uninfected member of the household from getting the infection. The persistence of sore throat from a viral infection for up to one week should be expected.
