I have some blood when blowing my nose. Very dry in house. A swab will have blood on it. Will this affect the outcome of an at home Covid test. if so, how do I get tested by anyone and have a proper test.
Try to not use the test when having an active nose bleed. I would suggest waiting several hours or a couple of days after a nose bleed. Then, when ready to perform the test, first very gently blow your nose to clear residual blood (and crusts) and wash your face, nostrils, and hands before applying the nose swab to the nose.
