If Trump is re-elected and the House and Senate have a Republican majority and the Supreme Court judges were nominated and approved during Trump’s presidency, where are the checks and balances to prevent Trump from doing what he wants to do?

At the end of the day, in any form of government, if those with authority want to do whatever they want to do, they can do so.  If the President wants to confiscate the New York Yankees, and both Congress and the Supreme Court go along, the President gets to own the New York Yankees.  Our system makes this difficult, but not impossible.
