Dr. McCamey is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner with clinical expertise in critical care, perianesthesia, and palliative care. She serves as associate dean for clinical partnerships and innovation at the Íøºì±¬ÁÏ School of Nursing, leading clinical partnership strategy and innovation initiatives across the institution. Her expertise focuses on advancing nursing workforce diversity as a mechanism for eliminating health inequities, with emphasis on academic-practice partnerships to strengthen clinical education infrastructure. She is founder and CEO of Doctors of Nursing Practice (DNPs) of Color, the premier national organization advancing DNP-prepared nurses of color. Dr. McCamey is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the Academy of Diversity Leaders in Nursing.
