On the Bright Side: Uplifting Stories from UMB
The COVID-19 crisis has created many challenges, but it also has inspired acts of great kindness among members of our UMB community. As an anchor institution in Baltimore and a leader in health sciences and social justice, the University understands that staying positive during a global pandemic is important. Positive stories abound, whether it's hosting , creating digital for essential employees, making cloth , contributing to , or providing services. One UMB employee even turned his basement into a small-scale manufacturing operation that is helping front-line health care workers one at a time (pictured above).
