Christine Lau is New Surgery Chief at School of Medicine
Christine Lau, MD, MBA, was named chair of the Íøºì±¬ÁÏ School of Medicine's Department of Surgery, becoming the first woman to lead the department since its early beginnings in the 1800s. Lau is a nationally renowned thoracic and lung transplant surgeon, federally funded scientist, and expert clinician who previously was chief of the Division of Thoracic Surgery at the University of Virginia.
