Proceed with installation only after unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected. INSTALLATION Fan Coil Unit Installation: Install fan coil units to comply with NFPA90A. Install fan coil units level and plumb. Suspend fan coil units from structure with elastomeric hangers. FIELD QUALITY CONTROL Manufacturer's Field Service: Engage a factory authorized service representative to test and inspect components, assemblies, and equipment installations, including connections. Perform the following tests and inspectionswith the assistance of a factory authorized service representative: Operational Test: After electrical circuitry has been energized, start units to confirm proper motor rotation and unit operation. Operate electric heating elements through each stage to verify proper operation and electrical connections. Test and adjust controls and safety devices. Replace damaged and malfunctioning controls and equipment. Record temperatures entering and leaving energy recovery wheel when outdoor-air temperature is a minimum of 15F higher, or 20F lower, than room temperature. Remove and replace malfunctioning units and retest as specified above. Prepare test and inspection reports. ADJUSTING Adjust initial temperature set points. Occupancy Adjustments: When requested within twelve (12) months from the date of Substantial Completion, provide onsite assistance in adjusting system to suit actual occupied conditions. Provide up to two (2) visits to Project during other than normal occupancy hours for this purpose. DEMONSTRATION Engage a factory authorized service representative to train Owner's maintenance personnel to adjust, operate, and maintain fan coil units.
